Communication Studies Professor Receives Grant For Animal Agriculture Research

The Climate Social Science Network grant will support a second article that will focus on endowed professorships at state universities that are paid for by animal agriculture companies.

Dr. Stănescu wrote for the 2019 book Climate Change Denial and Public Relations shed light on the growing trend of animal agriculture groups to downplay or distort scientific facts.

The students will gather information for a large database that will be built with information on Canadian animal agriculture organizations and companies.
