In August 2023 the Federal Government launched the third edition of the Growth Acceleration Program (Programa de Aceleracao do Crescimento PAC), better known as the New PAC.
The program is subordinated to the guidelines of the Ecological Transformation Plan (Plano de Transformacao Ecologica) The New PAC does not take into account the complexity of the region and the fact that there are different Amazons.
