"To the youth, I urge you to be proactive, resilient, and persistent on your entrepreneurial journey," says the UN's resident representative in the Philippines.

"Make your voices heard, take up space, and explore the multitude of opportunities."

Quartz reports 41 young people under the age of 30 recently did just that at a Demo Day for the Youth Social Innovation Lab in the Philippines, an initiative created by the UNDP and Citi Foundation that's aimed at helping young people in the country hit the UN's Sustainable Development Goals through entrepreneurship.

"The energy at the event was electric, buzzing with ideas from young social entrepreneurs tackling real-world issues," says one of the lab's mentors.

Among the solutions presented by the six social enterprises:Gro Up: A Card Game,REPAMANA, Capilli, IndieCo, and Bak's Apparel. Read the Entire Article
