The 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, or COP 28, is set to take place in Dubai from Nov.
30 to Dec.

The venue, Expo City Dubai, is divided into two zones: blue, where the negotiations are held, and green, where side events and country pavilions are held.
The green zone is off limits to the public, but citizens and residents will be able to attend events held in the area, which will be open to the general public.
"It will act as a catalyst and help enable governments, businesses, and civil society to collaborate and leverage climate technologies to address the most pressing issues," the conference organizers said in a statement, per AFP.
