The University of Virginia's Center for Politics kicked off its Caribbean Youth Ambassadors program this week, CBS 19 reports.
The program features 16 high-achieving youth leaders and three educators.
"The youths that are selected are leaders in their communities and the point of this program is to improve their leadership skills so that changes can be made back home," says student Naila Rahamen, who is from Guyana.
The ambassadors will work with Habitat for Humanity and the National Park Service on service projects. Read the Entire Article
