New Jersey's first lady has named the winners of the state's first-of-its-kind climate-change education contest for students in grades six through 12.

The winners of the NJ Student Climate Challenge, funded by Atlantic City Electric and its parent company, Exelon, were chosen by a panel of judges after they completed a school or community project to address climate change, the Star-Ledger reports.

"The creativity and innovation these students have put into their project submissions shows just how passionate our youth are about addressing the impacts of climate change and creating a cleaner environment for future generations," says Atlantic City Electric's region president.

The winning high school teams were from Princeton High School, Princeton Public Schools, Mercer County, South Plainfield High School, South Plainfield School District, Middlesex County, and Wall Township High School.

Middle school winners were from Rosa International Middle School, Cherry Hill Public Schools, Camden County, and Edson's Engineers Team from Ocean Township Intermediate School, Ocean Township School District. Read the Entire Article
