Introducing Boise State'S New School of the Environment

Students at Idaho's Boise State University will soon have a new school to studyand it's going to offer two new degree programs in environmental science and environmental management, the Idaho Statesman reports.

"There is clear evidence that the earth's systems need to heal, and we feel a profound hope as we work toward fixing what is broken and making systems whole again," says Leslie Durham, dean of the college where the new School of the Environment will be located.

The school will offer a bachelor's degree in environmental science and a master's in environmental management starting in the fall of 2023.

"Our commitment to solutions-oriented and transdisciplinary research and creative activity will tackle the most pressing sustainability and environmental issues of our time right here, right now," says Kevin Feris, the school's inaugural director. Read the Entire Article
