There are practical options for slowing emissions and limiting global warming that are now in the process of being implemented. Governments have repeatedly proved their ability to make significant contributions, but this does not imply that little acts are insignificant. Ko Barrett serves as the Vice Chair of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (UN IPCC). Taking steps to cut emissions and become more resilient to climate change, she claims, is something we can all do as people.
