The Yellowstone National Park project received a grant from Bozeman-based Yellowstone Park Foundation worth $200,000 for updating and preserving the park’s national heritage.
These activities are often outside the scope of government funding but put Yellowstone’s status as a worldwide leader in conservation. This year Yellowstone submitted about a dozen proposals that were outside the funding of the National Park Service.
