PBS is teaming up with 10 public radio and TV stations to explore the effects of climate change in a new series.
The Climate Across America series, produced by Nova, will include two documentaries, Weathering the Future and Chasing Carbon Zero, along with digital and radio content produced by the stations, including WKAR in East Lansing, Mich.; WHRO in Norfolk, Va.; Nebraska Public Media; KPBS in San Diego; Rocky Mountain Public Media in Denver; WFSU in Tallahassee, Fla.; Alaska Public Media; Vermont Public; PBS North in Duluth, Minn.; and Northwest Public Broadcasting in Pullman, Wash., per NPR.
"A lot of these solutions do address cutting carbon emissions, but the fundamental truth of where we are with climate change is that it's going to take a lot of different solutions," says Julia Cort, Nova's executive producer.
"There's probably dozens and dozens of things that will have to be done in order to address the problems."
