Atlanta's Galloway School is known for its progressive, 21st-century education, and it's about to get a major upgrade.

The private K-12 school has broken ground on a $100 million, 38,000-square-foot upper-learning building that will include a new library, cafeteria, classrooms, and a fitness center, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

It's part of a larger effort to "Equip students with the tools and resources necessary to navigate and excel in an ever-changing world," says the school's head of community engagement.

"In 2024, this includes adequate technology infrastructure," he adds.

"Our current facilities lack the necessary electricity, and we must plan for future technologies."
