New Online Collaboration Space for Climate Change and Mental Health

Climate change is already having an impact on the mental health of people around the world, according to a new study out of Imperial College London.

Published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the study found that the effects of climate change on the mental health of people in low- and middle-income countries have been underestimated for decades, the Guardian reports.

The researchers, who hail from universities around the world, found that the effects of climate change on the mental health of people in low- and middle-income countries are similar to the effects of climate change on people in high-income countries.
