Employees of Savings Bank of Danbury in Connecticut are putting their money where their mouth is.
The bank's foundation has awarded more than $301,000 in grants to 113 non-profit agencies in the state, reports the Hartford Courant.
The money will go to such causes as affordable housing, arts and culture, education, and health and human services.
"Our employees are active volunteering, mentoring, and participating in our communities and we are all pleased to support the outstanding difference these non-profit organizations make every day," says the bank's president and CEO.
