That's because the city is hosting its third annual Bondi Innovation Forum on Friday, a daylong "day of sharing revoluntionary ideas which will change and shape the way we do business and in turn promotes local economic vitality," according to a press release from the city's Waverley Council.
The forum is meant to promote the area as a "world-class innovation precinct," Mayor Paula Masselos says, perMirage.com.au.
"The Bondi region truly has the potential to be a global center of innovation excellence," says Ross Dawson, founder of Bondi Innovation.
"The talent is here and wants to be here, we just need to catalyse their potential."
Among the speakers at Friday's event, which will be livestreamed on the forum's website, will be representatives from Web Profits, Citizen Wolf, and others.
