The UN's annual climate change conference is underway in Katowice, Poland, and one topic is dominating the agenda: how to keep global temperatures from rising 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) over pre-industrial levels, reports the Guardian.
The main goal of the two-week conference is to agree on ways to keep the temperature increase to a safe level, though the exact details of how to make that happen are still being worked out.
