Feeding Innovation to Solve Complex Urban Problems

The LCAU's Mexico City Initiative is working with the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Mexico City government, and the engineering firm Mota-Engil Mexico.

Over the past three years, faculty and students from MIT and UNAM have worked on projects centered on energy transition.

The initiative has also spawned a sustainable construction startup that's contributing to local economies in both Mexico and the United States.
