About Us
The Joshua Tree National Park Association raises money to support operations and maintenance at the national park.
It also runs the gift shop inside the cultural center.
As a non-government entity, the association could keep operating the center even if the federal government shuts down or more rangers are fired.
The center attracts park visitors to downtown Twentynine Palms, which in turn benefits businesses.
